Borough Assembly

All regular and special Assembly meetings are live streamed via the link at www.khns.org, or the link under the Government tab at www.skagway.org. The live stream link will only become active 15 minutes prior to the meeting.

Community members are encouraged to submit comments in writing by 4:00 p.m. the day of the meeting to e.deach [at] skagway.org (e[dot]deach[at]skagway[dot]org). 

The Municipality of Skagway has implemented the following COVID-19 Mitigation Plan to protect staff, volunteers, and the public at meetings in assembly chambers:

• No gathering of larger than 30 people is allowed in the chambers.
• Six-foot distancing must be maintained between non-household members.
• Cloth face coverings must be worn.
• Any person with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 may not enter the chambers.
• Hand-washing capabilities and sanitizer are provided in the facility.
• Staff and volunteers will practice frequent hand-washing, and there will be an adequate supply of soap disinfectant, hand sanitizer, and paper towels available.
• Surfaces in the chambers will be sanitized before and after every public meeting.
• No food or drink will be provided in public meetings.
