The Municipality of Skagway is accepting bids from interested parties for the purchase of a set of four (4) Loader Tires (see Attachment A for more information).
A minimum bid of $3,000.00 (Three Thousand Dollars and 00/100) for the Loader Tires is required. This bid is for all 4 tires. The item may be viewed at the Skagway Small Boat Harbor in Skagway, Alaska.
Interested parties must complete the attached form and return it to the Municipality of Skagway no later than 4:00 p.m., April 20, 2026. The award of the bid will be based on the highest submitted bid amount. If the form is not completed properly, the bid will be considered non-responsive and will not be accepted. Interested parties may pick up a copy of the bid form at the Municipal Offices at 7th & Spring Street or at www.skagway.org.
Once the bid is awarded, the successful bidder is responsible for the removal of the items from Municipal property. The Loader Tires must be removed from the premises no later than April 30, 2026. The Municipality of Skagway is not responsible for any costs incurred in the removal or delivery of this item. It is the sole responsibility of the successful bidder to remove the Loader Tires from the premises.
The Municipality of Skagway is not liable for any injury pertaining to the removal of the items from Municipal property or for any injury resulting from the use of the items, proper or improper, after the purchase and removal.
Bids may be submitted physically or electronically. If a physical bid is submitted, the bidder must mail their bid to the Municipality of Skagway, P.O. Box 415, Skagway, AK 99840, or drop off their bid at the Skagway Municipal offices located on 700 Spring Street in an envelope clearly marked “LOADER TIRES” no later than 4:00 p.m., April 20, 2026. Postmarks will not be accepted.
The Municipality of Skagway allows electronic submission for this solicitation. Bids may be delivered through email to: contracts [at] skagway.org (contracts[at]skagway[dot]org) and are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 20, 2026. Include the notation “BID ENCLOSED” and “Loader Tires” in the Subject line of the email. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure delivery of Electronic Bids by the due date and time. Faxes will not be accepted.
