NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
The Port of Skagway would like to inform all tour operators that the Port, along with local partners, will be hosting a mandatory Transportation Orientation for all businesses and tour operators planning to utilize the parking and/or vehicle staging areas at the Port of Skagway Terminal during the 2024 season.
WHEN? Day: Thursday May 2, 2024 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Assembly Chambers, City Hall
WHO WILL PRESENT? Partners that will be available to ask questions to include: The Municipality of Skagway (Port, Visitor and Police Departments), White Pass & Yukon Route, SMART bus, Cruise Line Agency of Alaska, US Custom and Border Protection and Canada Border Services Agency.
MORE INFO It is mandatory for any company needing to apply for a Port of Skagway Terminal Vehicle Access Permit to have at least one business representative attend this orientation as well as the business’s participation in the Skagway Tourism Best Management Practices program.

After May 2nd, vehicles must have a parking permit on file to utilize any municipal-controlled parking areas near the cruise berths between 5am and 9pm, 7 days a week, until October 31st, 2024.
