Request for Bids – Drink Vending Machine
The Municipality of Skagway is accepting bids from interested parties for the purchase of a Drink Vending Machine.
A minimum bid price of $125 (One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars 00/100) for the vending machine is required. The item may be viewed at the Skagway Recreation Center, in Skagway, Alaska.
Interested parties must complete the attached form and return it to the Municipality of Skagway in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Drink Vending Machine” no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2023. The award of the bid will be based on the highest bid amount submitted. If the form is not completed properly, the bid will be considered non-responsive and will not be accepted. Once the bid is awarded, the successful bidder is responsible for the removal of the items from Municipal property. The vending machine must be removed from the premises no later than Friday, October 6, 2023. The Municipality of Skagway is not responsible for any costs incurred in the removal or delivery of this item. It is the sole responsibility of the successful bidder to remove the drink vending machine from the premises.
The Municipality of Skagway is not liable for any injury pertaining to the removal of the items from Municipal property or for any injury resulting from the use of the items, proper or improper, after the purchase and removal.
Bids may be mailed to the Municipality of Skagway, P.O. Box 415, Skagway, AK 99840 or dropped off at Skagway Municipal offices located on 700 Spring Street. Postmarks will not be accepted. Interested parties must ensure physical delivery by the due date and time. Faxes and e-mails will not be accepted.
