The Municipality of Skagway is accepting bids to construct the SKAGWAY WELL IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1.
The WORK covered in the Contract Documents generally includes: Demolition of the existing Generator and associated equipment, including Manual Transfer Switch and Conduit, at Skagway Well House #2; demolition of existing Electrical Service Equipment, including Main Breaker, CT Cabinet, and Meter Base; demolition of existing exterior Fuel Storage Tank and associated concrete tank foundation, piping, and appurtenances; furnish and install standby engine-generator set with kW/kVA rating, voltage, phase, frequency, enclosure type, belly tank configuration, load bank configuration, and short-circuit capability as shown on the Plans; furnish and install automatic transfer switches (ATS) with number of poles, amperage, voltage, withstand and close-on ratings as shown on the Plans; electrical improvements to accommodate new generator equipment, and other miscellaneous related WORK.

Bids are due no later than 2:00 pm Alaska Standard time on April 24, 2026.
