AB Hall Reception Room Rental information
The Skagway Visitor Department and Visitors Information Center are located in the historic Arctic Brotherhood Hall on Broadway between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.
With a 1200 sq. ft. assembly room and seating for 85, it is an ideal facility for meetings. Located in the heart of the historic district, AB Hall is central to many of Skagway’s activities, accommodations, and restaurants.
It is the policy of the Skagway Visitor Department to allow any club, organization, merchant, group, or individual the use of the hall for commercial endeavors twice each calendar year. A commercial rental of no more than three days is permitted between May and September as well as between October and April. Multiple day and multiple rentals for meetings and other non-commercial purposes are permissible. Lessee will be responsible for set-up and teardown, including cleaning, unless otherwise arranged.
After hours use shall be coordinated and approved by Tourism Director.
Payment is due in full to confirm rental.
Rental fees and policies may be waived with approval from the Tourism Director if they meet the following criterion:
- Event must be open to the public
- No entry fees are charged
- Event must be non-commercial
- Political events must be hosted by a Governmental Department (Municipal, State or Federal)
Rental Rates & Services
Available 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday. After hours events may be possible with approval from the Tourism Director. Additional cost of $25 per hour staffing charge may apply.

*** As per Skagway Municipal Code 9.02.020, it is unlawful for any person to use or consume alcoholic beverages on Municipally owned property within the business district of the Municipality, including the AB Hall. Permission from the Mayor/Assembly is required for any exceptions to this policy.
To make a reservation, please complete the AB Hall Room Use Request form and return it, with payment to the Skagway Convention & Visitors Bureau.
